How Al-Mishkah Arabic School uses personal information.
We collect information needed to enrol children, keep them safe, communicate with families and run the Saturday programme. We only use information for appropriate school purposes and protect it.
Key points at a glance
We use personal information to provide teaching, communicate with parents, manage attendance and collection, respond to medical or safeguarding needs, manage incidents and complaints, and meet relevant legal or insurance requirements.
Information is normally accessed only by authorised school staff or management who need it for their role. We may share information where necessary to protect a child, respond to an emergency, comply with a legal obligation or where otherwise permitted by law.
The school will take reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information and limit access. Paper records should be stored securely and digital records should be protected from unauthorised access.
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for longer where a legal, safeguarding, insurance or accountability requirement applies. Records are then securely deleted or destroyed.
Parents may ask the school about the personal information it holds about them or their child and may request correction of inaccurate information. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions.
Please contact the school through its normal parent communication channel or School Lead if you have a privacy question or request.
